Bush visits Mexico


Bush visited the Arizona and Mexico border to meet with the National Guard troops. He also accepted of the 370 mile fence that goes across the border. They have done this to block immigration.

Bush visits ground zero.


Bush visits ground zero to mourn the deaths of 3,000 people who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks. Bush gave a quote "Every life taken here, every act of valor performed here the nation holds in honored memory.” Bush stayed at New York after the ceremony to deliver a television commercial from Ellis island with the statue of liberty as a back drop.

bush visits the Vatican to meet with Pope.


Bush visited the Vatican in Rome to meet with Pope Benedict to walk through the gardens. Normally the Pope lets VIP’s meet with him in the Pope’s library but Bush was one of the lucky few to be able to stroll through the Vatican’s gardens. They walked through the garden and talked. The Pope showed Bush where the Pontiff prays daily.

Bush visits Palestine to meet with Abbas


Bush visited Palestine to discuss peace negotiations with Mahmoud Abbas and Ehud Olmart. They discussed peace between Palestine and Israel. Abbas said after 60 years he thinks that the Palestinian people deserve some peace.

Bush visits Pakistan to meet with Musharraf


Bush and Musharraf met to talk about the war on terror and the Taliban. They said that both their countries are working together with Afghanistan to catch Osama Bin Laden. They discussed about making Pakistan a Democracy. They also discussed extremism and cross-border infiltration. Musharraf said that he is trying to build a more modern and prosperous Pakistan.

Bush sent Bill Nelson to meet with Bashar Assad.


Bush did not visit Syria; rather he sent Senator Bill Nelson the only high ranking US official to be there to visit with the Syrian leader after the bipartisan. They met to discuss the problems between them and Iraq.
